Undone!

 Hi!

Packed all my things including 5 Leagues and 5 Parsecs and found I don't actually have room for all I want to take.

Totally disappointed.

So, 5 Leagues will be at home and on the back burner until mid-February.

I'm obviously as bad at planning as the Russian military.

Wood Elves

 Hi!

Having a grand total of one elf I thought I'd put that right. I bought two more, wood elves.

Both from Forlorn Hope Games (forlornhopegames.co.uk). As you can see one is bow armed and the other a bard with lyre and sword.

Just what a hero needs, someone to sing songs of your heroic deeds.

I'm thinking of using the bard as the fey character. I'll decide when the map is done

Thanks' for dropping by.

The shape of the warband

 Hi!

I've done the initial choices for the adventurers. I've chosen rather than diced for them. The reason being the dice were entirely unfavourable in its random choices. And I diced 8 times for half decent choices!

First ;- Human noble

Roland of Hohland

Third son of an impoverished knight Roland had to turn his hand to many crafts growing up. He also knew the estate, such as it was, would be inherited by his eldest brother and he would one day leave to seek a place in the world for himself.

Now was that time.

He equipped himself as well as he was able with old armour, sword, shield and helmet which he begged and borrowed from wealthier local families and relations. Still, it wasn't much.

At the time of his departure a servant of someone of import tasked him with delivering a letter in the borderlands to which he was journeying. He would be well paid on his deliverance of it.

The dicing for the Mystic, Fey and Duskling were very fortunate. I only wish the initial dicing for the party had been as good.

5 Leagues from the Borderlands

 Hi!

This is my new blog for the adventures to be set in the 5 Leagues from the borderland realm.

I'm doing it on a blog so it's a reference people can read as opposed to watching on YT (YouTube) which one day may not exist, you never know. Even blog posts may be gone in the future for something not yet dreamed of. Perhaps, live streamed or recorded thoughts may surpass todays technology.

I'll record my warband of rogues in my next blog and any progress thereafter.

I am lucky in that I now have a quantity of figures to choose from. Frostgrave, The Silver Bayonet (the Napoleonic Gothic fantasy game not the Vietnam Silver Bayonet) and Sell Swords and Spell Slingers have all helped to increase the diversity of my collection. I am probably missing some iconic creatures, such as giant spiders but have others that may be used to substitute for them.

Some figures are Games Workshop but others are from Northstar, Reaper Miniatures and various others. A few 3d prints from etsy.uk. Sometimes it's just hard to find what you want!

To see what some might be like visit my other blog, Travels with Khusru (Travels with Khusru). This is my main blog for wargaming and includes some of the other games I've gamed.

I hope you will come back for future posts and leave feedback on what is recorded.

Thanks' for visiting
